04// Data Brokering

Your company's records are worth more than you think.

The files your team already makes and keeps are exactly what AI labs can't find on the open web. We assess what you hold, anonymize it, and put you in front of the labs buying it, so records sitting on a server start earning revenue.

The public internet has been read. What AI needs now is the record of how real companies actually work: your design files, planning docs, finance records, team threads and customer conversations. You already have it. We help you license it.

Who's buying

Five kinds of buyer want data the web doesn't have.

Demand for real operating records is coming from every layer of the AI stack:

|Frontier labs| training the largest models and running short on genuine working records, and |cloud hyperscalers| building their own models plus the infrastructure everyone else runs on.

|Well-funded new labs| raising billions to compete with the frontier, and buying data to catch up.

|Agent training environments| simulating real workplaces so AI agents can practice real jobs, and the |data vendors| supplying training sets to everyone above.

What they buy

What labs buy

The everyday records of how your company works.

Nothing exotic. The files your team already makes and keeps, anonymized before anyone outside your walls sees them.

Design files

  • cad
  • sketches
  • drawings
  • specs
  • revision history

CAD files, sketches, drawings and specifications, along with the revision history that shows how a design actually evolved. That history is what teaches a model engineering judgment.

How it works

From first call to getting paid in seven steps.

You decide what's shared at every stage. Nothing leaves your hands until you approve the file list, and nothing moves until you sign.

Start step one

01Assess your data

We review what types of data you hold and roughly how much. No files are uploaded at this stage.

02Meet the labs

We set up meetings with the AI labs and buyers whose needs match what you have.

03Lab vetting

The buyer runs its own review of fit before anything is requested.

04Share your file list

You choose exactly what you're willing to license. Nothing outside that list is ever shared.

05Get a quote

The buyer prices your approved file list. We pressure-test the number before you see it.

06Get a contract

You review and sign the licensing agreement with your own counsel.

07Get paid

Payment lands on the terms in your contract. Your records keep working for you after that.

Why a broker

Labs rarely answer a cold email.

Direct deals go to famous catalogs. We get operating companies into the room, with the right introduction and a clean file list.

Anonymized · Approved · Private

Labs want to see how decisions get made, not who made them. Names, contacts and client details are removed from every file before a buyer sees it.

01

Every file anonymized, by us or by the buyer.

02

You approve the exact file list before anything is shared.

03

Your company name stays private unless you choose otherwise.

04

Nothing moves until you sign.

FAQ

What owners ask us before they sign.

Who qualifies?

Companies with at least 20 employees. Teams of 40 or more are a stronger fit, and companies with 80+ employees and years of connected records tend to move fastest.

What kinds of files do labs want?

Operational data: CAD files and sketches, Google Docs, planning and strategy documents, finance documents, team messages and email, and customer or support conversations.

Is my data anonymized?

Yes. Every file is anonymized before a buyer sees it, either by us or by the buyer, depending on the deal. Names, contacts and client details are removed.

Do I choose what gets shared?

Yes. After the buyer's vetting, you send the list of files you're willing to license. Nothing outside that list is shared, ever.

How much is a deal worth?

It depends on volume, how much history you have, and how connected your systems are. Larger companies with deeper records land at the top of the range. We'll benchmark yours on the first call.

How fast does it move?

Quotes typically follow quickly once a buyer has your approved file list, and payment arrives on the terms set in your contract. We'll give you a realistic timeline on the first call.

How does Digital Roar get paid?

We take a fee on completed deals, so we only earn when you do. We'll walk you through it on your first call.
